MEMORY RETRIEVAL

 CONSCIOUS MEMORY

Retrieval of the memory of a recent event  or events may be simple or it might be difficult depending upon the number of shared events to which the occurrence of such may be attached and the duration of time during which the activities occupied our mind.

SUB CONSCIOUS MEMORY

Retrieval of any part of that which we refer to as our
SUB-CONSCIOUS MEMORY is difficult at best but not impossible.

Crossword puzzle enthusiasts are very aware of the limited controls available to them, the key word being control as opposed to limited.  Who among these seasoned puzzlers has not said to themselves “I cannot imagine the answer; I do not know that word”, only to discover after a few sips of coffee and some friendly conversation, that when returning to the recent linguistic challenge of minutes ago, that  the truth is apparent, the cloak of mystery  removed and the unknown noun as familiar to us as our middle name.

UNCONSCIOUS MEMORY

For many if not most, the term unconscious memory and  SUB-conscious memory are interchangeable. But to others the term UNconscious memory includes the memory of ALL past and future events and is shared by every living thing. Some appear to have greater access to this great body of knowledge than do others and depending on individual belief systems this definition of all past and future events may be represented by other labels such as ESP, LOVE and GOD.

And some may ask “Why is this important?” and get on with the business of NOW.
